What will Joe Miller do?

The Republican Senate candidate and Tea Party favorite is holding a news conference on New Year's Eve to decide what's next for him in the Alaska Senate race.
OK, so Sen. Lisa Murkowski has already declared herself the winner and a federal judge has thrown out Miller's lawsuit about Murkowski's write-in campaign. Plus, Gov. Sean Parnell is expected to certify Murkowski the winner sometime today.
But Miller's spokesman Randy DeSoto says his boss is weighing his options, including whether to appeal the federal ruling or take his legal fight to state court.
Miller's news conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Alaska time on Friday.
Murkowski plans to take her oath of office on Wednesday, when the 112th Congress convenes.
