New Justin Bieber song "Ride" is for another artist
NEW YORK (Billboard) – Another previously unheard Justin Bieber song has hit the web: "Ride," an uptempo dance track that leaked online Wednesday and finds the 16-year-old pop star reflecting on -- what else? -- love over 8-bit-style blips. Watchful Beliebers have speculated that "Ride" might appear on Bieber's next album, but a rep for the singer tells Billboard.com, "It's a demo that he wrote for another artist" -- which would explain why Bieber sings, "I could be your queen, but you could be my boo," during the first verse. "I love it when you call me 'baby,' baby," Bieber later croons, in a melody that will sound familiar to fans of his hit single, "Baby."
