Both men were taken to hospitals. Both suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, Detective Jeff Lambier said Thursday. Detectives from the Lake Stevens Police Department said they believe the assault was the result of a road-rage incident that occurred between the two men in the Frontier Village area around 8:45 p.m. Patrol officers were called out on a report of an assault with a weapon at the intersection of North Davies Road and 96th Ave Northeast.
